How to Add a Logo Without Losing QR Readability
Understand what a centered logo obscures and test the exported code after every design change.
The logo replaces useful modules
A QR symbol uses its grid for both data and error correction. A logo placed over that grid removes information from view. High correction offers some tolerance, but it does not guarantee that any logo size or placement will work.
Start small and simple
Use a small clear logo you have permission to use. The tool limits the center area and switches to high correction for logo output. Preserve the three large corner patterns and the outside quiet zone.
Check colors and backgrounds
A logo’s white patch can contrast with a colored background, so inspect the exported design as a whole. Keep the QR modules much darker than their background. Avoid trying to match brand colors when the result becomes difficult to distinguish.
Test the actual export
Scan the downloaded PNG and the SVG placed in your design program. Print a sample at final size and try more than one reader. If recognition is unreliable, remove the logo, shorten the payload or increase the final size.
